2024-25 Registration Fees and Process

​

Full Registration Cost: $540 

​

To participate and ride with the Team, student athletes must complete the two step registration process;

(1) team registration and (2) FL NICA registration.

Each step has a fee associated with it.

​

Step 1:  Register with Tarpon Coast Composite - $185.00

The first step of our registration process is to pay the team fees.

These fees cover local team expenses such as:

• coach licensing & safety training

• practice equipment

• race day nutrition for athletes

• race pitzone area equipment & supplies

• first aid training, first aid kits, and communication devices

• team picnic

• team management

• athlete race jersey

• misc coach travel expenses

• name plates

• USA Cycling & additional insurance

• loaner bicycle

As part of the team registration process, both the rider and a parent/guardian will need to read and acknowledge our Sportsmanship and Conduct Standards and our Riding Policies.

 

Step 2: Register NICA - $355.00

When everyone has registered with the team, we will activate the riders in the NICA Pit Zone, the secure online website that will register you with the National Organization, NICA. This is where you will complete registration, waivers, and participation agreements. If a rider does not yet have a Pit Zone account, we will send an invite to the parent's email address used during the team registration process. Once a rider's account has been created or re-activated, the rider will need to go through the NICA registration system and fill in or verify all information.​

    • 1 adventure weekend

    • Professionally led coaching education and advancement and a top quality youth sports coaching curriculum

    • Special offers from sponsors of NICA/ League, including discounts on product & event registration

 

Finish the NICA registration by paying the $355.00 registration fee. This fee includes membership to NICA as well as supplemental insurance for the rider. No rider will be allowed to practice with the team until this fee is paid.
