RACE #3 - HAMMER THE HAMMOCK UPDATES

VENUE LOCATION AND DETAILS For those of you that have never been to this venue it is a wonderful park with nearly 40 miles of flowing single-track mountain bike trails that wind through numerous ecosystems in the Hammock Preserve, and there is a little bit of something for everyone. There are also wonderful hiking and equestrian trails at the park and we wanted to be sure everyone has the correct address to our race weekend location. When plugging in directions to your devices, please use 13201 Progress Blvd., Alachua, FL 32615 to ensure you arrive at the correct location.

There is a $4 per vehicle fee per day. Please use either the honor box (correct change required) OR you can pay online for a single-use day pass. Go HERE (the San Felasco Hammock Preserve website) and scroll down until you see the Yellow Pay Online button to purchase your day pass. This method will be quicker as well! In addition, the venue location does not allow dogs or drones, so please plan accordingly and respect the parks guidelines!

3. PRE-RIDE will begin at 1:30pm. We ask ALL team members to be in our team tent no later than 1pm on Saturday to begin warming up, receive your race plates, and get last minute instructions.

4. TEAM DINNER ON SATURDAY! The Lang Family will be hosting a team dinner at our camper from 5:30-8pm. This is a great opportunity for camaraderie and getting a solid pre-race meal. Families are welcome to attend but we need an RSVP for proper planning. Please RSVP by Wednesday March 1st via this link! Exact directions will be given out at pre-ride. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WC6DR6R

6. We strongly encourage everyone on the team to be present the entire day on Sunday. It provides an opportunity for proper warm ups, team building, cheering on your team mates, and awards. Please be at the team tent no later than 8:15am Sunday. Here is the Sunday schedule:

*** NOTE - this is a longer course - lap counts have been changed. All categories will be running 1 less lap. The course is around 6 miles with 225’ of elevation gain per lap.

GET ALL THE DETAILS FOR THE WEEKEND VIA THE RACE INFO FLYER HERE

Families and guests are welcome to hang out in our team tent area. We ask that chairs are setup mindfully as to not block traffic flow and team needs. Remember - the primary function of the tent is to support the athletes and coaches. If you are coming to spectate, support, etc.... please consider bringing your own folding chairs, fans, water, and a cooler with food and snacks for the day.

Reminder - you must have a race plate to ride the course for any reason. Anyone on a bike must be wearing a helmet....parents, students, siblings, guests, etc....

We are looking forward to a fun and exciting event!!!!! Can't wait to see you all there! 💖
